【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsprovideaquantitativemeasureofthepressure-sensitivetackpropertyofanadhesive.Thesetestmethodsaredesignedtomeasurethetackpropertyoftheadhesivemass.Thetackofagivenadhesivevariesdependingonthebacking(generally,stifferbackingsleadtohighervalues).Thesestestmethodsaresuitableforqualitycontrolandresearchpurposes.TestMethodA(usingTensileTester)makesuseofaspecimenstrip7in.(175mm)inlength.BoththeFINATFTM9x201C;QuickStickx201D;TackMeasurementTestandtheTLMIL-IB2TensileTesterLoopTackTestalsouseaspecimenstripofthatlength.TestMethodB(usingLoopTackTester)makesuseofaspecimenstripfivein.(125mm)inlength.Thatistheonlylengthspecimenstripthatfitsproperlyinthelooptacktester.Iftheadhesiveisnotalreadyotherwisecoated,thesetestmethodsincorporatetheuseofaclear2mil(0.05mm)polyester(PET)filmbackingforspecimenpreparation.Useofotherbackingmaterialschangesperformanceofthespecimentobetested.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationofpropertiesofapressure-sensitiveadhesive.Thesetestmethodsareapplicabletothoseadhesivesthatformabondofmeasurablestrengthrapidlyuponcontactwithanothersurface.Tackforcemaybemeasuredastheforcerequiredtoseparatetheadhesivefromtheadherendattheinterfaceshortlyaftertheyhavebeenbroughtintocontactunderaloadequalonlytotheweightofthepressure-sensitivearticle(forexample,tape,label,sticker,etc.)ona1in.2contactarea.1.2Thefollowingtestmethodsareincluded:1.2.1TestMethodA(usingTensileTester),and1.2.2TestMethodB(usingLoopTackTester).1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandardbecausetheindustrystandardwidthforpressure-sensitivetapeis1inch.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationpurposesonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
