【摘要】:Thispracticeisintendedtosimulatetheeffectsproducedbyexposuretosolarradiationthroughglass.Thispracticeusesexposureinaxenon-arcdeviceequippedwithwindowglassfiltersandoperatedinaccordancewithPracticesG151andG155.Note28212;PracticeD4674describesexposuresinadevicethatusesacombinationoffluorescentx201C;coolwhitex201D;andultraviolet(UV)lampstosimulatetheeffectsofexposurestoindoorfluorescentlightandwindowglassfiltereddaylight.Warning8212;Variationinresultsmaybeexpectedwhenoperatingconditionsarevariedwithintheacceptedlimitsofthispractice.Therefore,allreferencestotheuseofthispracticemustbeaccompaniedbyareportpreparedinaccordancewithSection9thatdescribesthespecificoperatingconditionsused.RefertoPracticeG151fordetailedinformationonthecaveatsapplicabletouseofresultsobtainedinaccordancewiththispractice.Note38212;Additionalinformationonsourcesofvariabilityandonstrategiesforaddressingvariabilityinthedesign,executionanddataanalysisoflaboratoryacceleratedexposuretestsisfoundinGuideG141.TestresultswilldependuponthecarethatistakentooperatetheequipmentinaccordancewithPracticeG155.Significantfactorsincluderegulationoflinevoltage,temperatureandhumiditycontrol,andconditionandageoftheburnerandfilters.Reproducibilityoftestresultsbetweenlaboratorieshasbeenshowntobegoodwhenthestabilityofmaterialsisevaluatedintermsofperformancerankingcomparedtoothermaterialsortoacontrol.3,4Therefore,exposureofasimilarmaterialofknownperformance(acontrol)atthesametimeasthetestmaterialsisstronglyrecommended.Itisrecommendedthatatleastthreereplicatesofeachmaterialbeexposedtoallowforstatisticalevaluationofresults.1.1Thispracticecoversspecificproceduresandtestconditionsthatareapplicableforexposureofplasticsinwindowglass-filteredxenon-arcdevicesinaccordancewithPracticesG151andG155forevaluatingthestabilityofplasticsintendedforuseinindoorapplications.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1-ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothispractice.
