【摘要】:Thistestmethodcanbeusedtoquantifyandcompareheadroomofbackpackingandmountaineeringtents.Themeasuredheadroomcanbeusedasamanufacturingstandardorameasurementthatcanbeusedbyconsumerstocomparetheinteriorheightofavarietyoftents,orboth.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstentsforuseinthesportsofbackpackingandmountaineering.Itestablishesrequirementsforthetestingandmarkingoftents.1.2Thistestmethodmaycontaintestmethodsthatdonotentirelysimulatereallifesituations.Thistestmethodisdesignedtogivereproducibleresultsinalaboratoryandtherebyameansforproductcomparison.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
