【摘要】:ThispartofIEC61097specifiestheminimumoperationalandperformancerequirements,technicalcharacteristics,methodsoftestingandrequiredtestresultsforInmarsat-Bmaritimeclass1shipearthstations(SES),capableoftransmittingandreceivingdistressandsafetycommunicationsusingtelephonyanddirect-printingtelegraphy,asrequiredbyregulationIV/10.1and14.1ofthe1988amendmentstothe1974InternationalConventionfortheSafetyofLifeatSea(SOLAS),foruseintheGMDSS.InordertomeetthecarriagerequirementsoftheGMDSSinrespectofreceiptofSafetyNETbroadcasts,itisnecessarytoinstallanadditionalEGCreceiveroracombinedInmarsat-C/EGCreceiver.ThisstandardtakesaccountofIMOResolutionA.694,towhichIEC60945isassociated.WhenarequirementinthisstandardisdifferentfromIEC60945,therequirementinthisstandardtakesprecedence.ThisstandardincorporatestheperformancestandardsofIMOResolutionA.808.ItalsoincorporatestherelevantITURadioregulations.ThisstandarddoesnotincorporatetheInmarsatsystemrequirementsneededforInmarsattypeapproval.Forthese,thelatesteditionoftheInmarsat-Bsystemdefinitionmanual(SDM)shallbeconsulted.WhenarequirementinthisstandardisdifferentfromoneintheInmarsat-BSDM,referenceshallbemadetothemostrecentIMOandITUapplicabledocumentstoresolvethedifficulty.NOTE-Alltextofthisstandard,thewordingofwhichisidenticaltothatintheIMOSOLASConvention1974asamendedandIMOResolutionA.808,isprintedinitalicsanditisfollowedbytheresolutionorrecommendationandparagraphnumberindicatedbetweenbrackets.
